Robert Addie (Sir Guy of Gisburne)

If I say you're a serf,
you're a serf!!!

Robert Addie grew up loving horses and the game of polo. Having left Marlborough College early, he travelled to Argentina to work on a ranch. Later Robert went to London to follow up his ambition of becoming an actor by auditioning for and joining the National Youth Theatre.  He then moved into film and television work. He went to R.A.D.A. for a year. After several years hiatus from acting in the 1990s, when he lived in America, Robert came back and acted again on stage, in television and films. Afterwards he retired from acting, only wanting to do directing and producing. He died of lung cancer on 20 November 2003.
